Please join 360 Behavioral Health's own Dr. Jeremy Wilson, BCBA-D, Jared Freilich, MA, BCBA and Ashton Benedict, MS, BCBA guide you through a didactic, hands-on experience on the topic of Experimental Functional Analysis. One of the many ethical standards held by behavior analysts is that clients have the right to effective treatment. In order to provide function-based, effective treatment for problem behaviors, a clear functional relation must be identified between environmental variables and the behaviors in question. Behavior analysts receive basic conceptual education on the implementation of functional analysis procedures; however, not all behavior analysts utilize these procedures in their practice to identify behavioral function. Practitioners have reported that common barriers to utilization are time constraints, lack of training, and ethical concerns of evoking and reinforcing severe problem behaviors. The purpose of this workshop is to provide advanced training on the implementation of various functional analyses in clinical practice and graphing results utilizing behavior skills training. Overcoming barriers to utilizing a functional analysis in clinical practice, interpreting functional analysis results, and troubleshooting tips for modifying procedures when the results are undifferentiated will also be discussed. This workshop will include hands on didactic training and engaging role play activities.
Each section of the workshop is capped at 25 participants so make sure you register ASAP to reserve your spot!
